Last Week at Rotary: Janene VanLeeuwen It was a pleasure to welcome Janene back to our meeting to share her work on One Buckeye: A Community of Limitless Possibilities. Janene shared several fascinating insights about our city, but one stat truly blew us away: Buckeye’s land area is large enough to fit 16 other cities inside it! While many of us knew Buckeye was geographically massive, seeing her visual representation really put its true scope into perspective. To support our city’s rapid growth, Neighborhood Services is expanding its efforts to keep residents informed, engaged, and connected. Janene highlighted several practical tools available to us, including: Getting Informed: Using resources like the YourBuckeye app to stay up to date. Staying Engaged: Participating in local public meetings and community events. Connecting: Reaching out directly to city council members and utilizing local city resources.
Janene is doing a fantastic job building these connections and opening doors for our community. Thank you, Janene, for your dedication and everything you do for Buckeye!
