Field Trip and Breakfast on July 15 2025

Our meeting this Tuesday, July 15, will be a field trip adventure.  We will meet at the Buckeye Museum in downtown Buckeye at 7am for a tour arranged just for the club.  Following the tour, we will meet at The Heritage @ Old Town the new venture of Kevin and Amy Barko for breakfast.  Coffee will be provided by the Club. Breakfast will be “no host”.   If you haven't tried The Heritage the food is excellent and the servers are cheerful.

The Buckeye Valley Museum is located at 116 E Maricopa County 85 (due east of downtown Buckeye), Buckeye, Arizona. The Heritage @ Old Town is located ½ mile West of the Museum at 409 Monroe Avenue, Buckeye.

Last Week

Last week we welcomed our Assistant District Governor, Joan Smith as well as members of Goodyear Pebble Creek Rotary, Mary Kay Uteht and Barb MacFarlane.  ADG Joan spoke briefly about the upcoming year and applauded President Holly for her leadership and for setting club goals for the new Rotary year.

We were also honored to be joined by Cait Evans, the General Manager of the new Nothing Bundt Cake Store located in the new Buckeye Commons (Costco center) south of Interstate 10 at the corner of Roosevelt and Verrado.  Cait spoke about the positive experience she had had working for the area franchisee of Nothing Bundt Cake and expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to build a career with them, leading to her current position.  She also endeared herself to the club as she arrived with a Nothing Bundt Cake for each of us.  Way to go Cait.  We were pleased Cait took a membership application and hope that her duties allow her to consider joining us.
