Last Week We heard from Cassie Wilkins, Founder and Executive Director of All Faith Community Services. She shared the organization's triumphs this year including adding and expanding the board of directors, mounting a strategic planning review, adding equipment and infrastructure to help carry on the mission more efficiently and adding a service to provide weekend meals to students in need. Future plans call for upgrading the current building, adding a point of sale system to aid with logistics and looking to a future more centralized location to supplement the current facility in downtown Buckeye. Once again Cassie showed us that we get an excellent return on our financial and human investments in All Faiths, the only foodbank in Buckeye. The presentation was timely, as the Rotary Club of Verrado is sponsoring a clear the shelves event at Basha's on Main Street in Verrado on this coming Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 9 to 1. PLEASE plan to come over to Basha's and check in with Mike Nott and other Rotarians, shop the store for donations to the food bank and make an immediate donation to the onsite donation truck.
