Buckeye Police Chief Larry Hall has served as a law enforcement officer for more than 30 years. He began his career with the New York Police Department in 1990 before moving to Arizona to join the Mesa Police Department where he served for more than a decade, and then the Buckeye Police Department where he earned the role of police chief in 2014.  One of the challenges facing a Buckeye Police Chief is to keep up with all 640 square miles of the fast-growing Buckeye community, and Chief Hall works to improve crime-fighting capabilities through modern training, advanced technology, and innovative department programs. 

Larry has his own crime fighting track record and not long ago received a Valor Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from ASIS Phoenix Chapter for his heroic efforts during a 2021 shooting incident where he disarmed a homicide suspect .  Chief Hall is a longtime member of our Verrado Rotary Club, and if you’re on Facebook, there is consistent evidence of Chief Hall’s innovative management, and his positive community engagement programs. The City of Buckeye is fortunate to enjoy his leadership, and we’re grateful for all that he and his department do for our community.
