Our guest speaker on January 9, was our own David Johnson.  Dave outlined some planning and exploration underway for a joint project with Habitat for Humanity to undertake a project in the West Valley.  Some of the ideas explored include a single build Habitat home and a larger multi home neighborhood which would be welcoming to individuals who have successfully navigated Hickman's transition work/life program for people formerly incarcerated at Perryville.  He promised more to come and a formal consultation with the club as the scope of the project becomes clearer.  In the meantime, please offer your suggestions and thoughts on the project to Dave or a member of the Club's board of directors.  Your input is important.
