This Sunday is Easter. During this holiday let’s take a moment to appreciate the wonderful synergy and friendships we share in Rotary. -Editor Last Week at RotaryFrom Left. Ed Williams, President Cheryl, Neil Thibodaux Our meeting on March 26, was held at the beautiful home of President Cheryl Peterson. Chef Kevin Barko and three students from his CCAP program joined us to prepare and serve french omelettes, fruit and pastries. The food was delicious. After the meeting, we adjoured to the adjacent "Treehouse Park" where we dedicated the park's new bench and admired the hard work of Neil Thibodaux in improving the park and installing the bench. The bench and permission to install it was arranged by Ed Williams with assistance from President Cheryl. We can be proud of the bench and thank Neil for his hard work in making the park into a very popular and functional play area. If you haven't had a chance to see treehouse park, you can see at far east end of Ridge Road, on the north side. Click below to see the many photos from the day's celebration. A BIG thank you to President Cheryl and Greg Peterson for hosting us in their home. |
