Our speaker last week was introduced by George Cannelos, in what can only be described as a seminar in the proper way to introduce any speaker. Bravo, General George! Janene Van Leeuwen, Neighborhood Services Coordinator for the City of Buckeye was our speaker. Ms Van Leeuwen explained her role is to communicate about the city and its services to the public. She suggested a variety of resources city residents can use to access information about the activities in the city and city services. She also described the size of the City of Buckeye and its rapid growth, both historically and looking ahead. See below for a partial list of these resources.
