This Week we are meeting at First Watch for Breakfast in Buckeye: 840 N Verrado Way See you all there! Last Week at Rotary with Julie Frentz Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Julie Frentz, co-founder of the Helping Children Succeed in School Foundation (HCSS). Alongside co-founders Brian and Cathy Sitarz, Julie powers this impactful non-profit dedicated to equipping local students for educational success. Julie walked us through the foundation’s humble beginnings and its incredible journey of growth. Highlights from her presentation included: Strong Community Partnerships: How the foundation collaborates directly with students, school staff, parents, and district leaders to maximize impact. Hands-On Projects: The ongoing initiatives designed to get essential resources directly into classrooms and homes. The Continuing Need: Key efforts focused on ensuring every child has the necessary school supplies and the support required for regular attendance.
While the foundation has achieved remarkable milestones, the need in our community continues to grow. Get Involved: If you would like to support or participate in any upcoming projects, please reach out directly to Julie Frentz- frentzjulie@yahoo.com, hcssfoundation.org A big Rotary thank you to Julie, Brian, and Cathy for their dedicated leadership and unwavering commitment to empowering our youth!
