Fall Road Clean up of Verrado way

The club has committed to semi-annual cleanup of Verrado Way between Roosevelt and Yuma. We have scheduled the spring event for November 9th^th to avoid hot weather and holidays. The road clean up involves club members and potentially members from the Buckeye Youth Council.

As you know in the past the City of Buckeye has been requested to send out their Public Works crew to set cones and warning signs, provide reflective vests, and bags for our pickers. We will gather at the parking lot of the Palo Verde’s Training Center, the EEC on Verrado Way at 7:30 am. After getting our safety gear, tools and a briefing, we set off in teams of two (this varies). Once a bag is full, we leave it on the shoulder and the Public Works crew will pick it up. We usually spend about an hour picking up garbage and then meet back at Palo Verde. Optional Breakfast if Holly is buying LOL.
