Tony Youngker, Buckeye City Councilman
Community leader, local restaurateur, and early Buckeye family member stories and perspectives

Tony Youngker was elected to represent District 1 on the Buckeye City Council in the November 2016 General Election.  He serves as council liaison for the Buckeye Airport Advisory Board, the Buckeye Public Safety Police Retirement Board, and for the Main Street Coalition.

Tony's Buckeye family roots are deep, and he is a Buckeye native and graduate of Buckeye Union High School. In 1998, he graduated with high distinction from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute with a degree in culinary arts and sciences and restaurant management, and now owns the delightful Café 25:35 on Historic Main Street in downtown Buckeye. He lives with his wife and four children on the Youngker family’s homestead in Buckeye.

Tony's stated goal is to be a bridge between the old-school and the new-school in Buckeye today. He says that some people with a long history here bring a lot of value with their experience and knowledge. There’s also a younger generation, and our new residents bring a lot of fresh ideas to the table too. He values all of those perspectives, and maintains an open mind as Buckeye moves forward.
