A New Look for Buckeye's Historic Downtown

Suzie Boyles is the City of Buckeye’s Economic Development Director, and balances a very full plate, overseeing Economic Development Strategies, Large Industrial, Revitalization Districts, Flex Industrial, Healthcare, and Aviation. Ms. Boyles has worked for Buckeye since 2018 and is truly a “jack of all trades” for the city and the Economic Development Department. Suzanne’s commitment to Buckeye and the work she contributes everyday has already brought significant changes to Buckeye’s healthcare and industrial developments.   As Deputy City Manager David Roderique has noted, “Suzie’s passion and drive has changed Buckeye’s economy for the better.  Her attitude towards work and team effort is part of what makes Buckeye one of the fastest growing cities in the country.”   Suzie's successes earned statewide recognition last year as Arizona Business Magazine selected her as one of their 36 Most Influential Women of 2022 (chosen from more than 1,500 nominees).  Suzie is at the forefront of the Historic Buckeye Downtown Renovation project, and the Rotary Club of Verrado is delighted to benefit from her overview of what's in store for our community there.
