Rotary Week of Service Bed Build

 
On Saturday, April 15, 2023, the Rotary Club of Verrado participated in the Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Build as part of the Rotary Week of Service.  A good time was had by all who participated along with a feeling that we had done something Saturday to make a difference in our community.  Thank you to David Faragher, Lloyd Trilling, Trish Hosking, Doug Bredow, Greg Loucks, Cheryl Thorsen, John Thorsen, Mike Hosking, Tom Leyda and member-in-waiting Kathy Gorchesky for joining us on Saturday.  In case you missed it here is a link to a report on Arizona Family, Channel 3 about the event.  Click More to see photos

 
 
 
 

President-elect Cheryl Peterson represents Verrado Rotary at Los Angeles gathering!

 
President-elect Cheryl attended the Southwest Rotary President Elect Training Seminar in Los Angeles this past weekend along with Presidents-elect and other Rotarians in the SW United States.  Here, President-elect Cheryl enjoys a chat with Gordon R McInally, Rotary International President Elect 23/24.  PE McInally is a member of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry, Lothian Scotland, a club of approximately 30 members which was chartered in 1977.  Thank you President-elect Cheryl for representing our club so well!

Driving Directions: Take Verrado Drive to the roundabout. Take first exit onto Victory Blvd. At the stop sign, turn left on Tiger Mountain. The Victory Club is at the top of the hill. Victory Hall is on the left hand side of the driveway circle.
